Aburi & Marley
The weekend. Yesturday (Sunday) I went on a day trip into the mountains to a town called Aburi. There were plenty of crafts and jewelry on sale, and bought some gifts for the godsisters (who tend to come over to our home around Christmas.)
We took pictures near the compound for Rita Marley (widow of Bob), who has a residence / music studio in the hills here. The murals of the Marleys and wonderful paintings in the colors of the Ghanaian flag - the red yellow green and black.
Afterwards, when we came back to town - dinner was at a great place in the Osu district of Accra called "Bluegate." Grilled tilapia fish, banku, pepper sauce, veggies and a Guiness. Great meal!
Back home I tried to watch that legend of zorro movie...snored right through it, woke up at midnight and went to my proper bed.
