Day of Cake

23rd b-day....I just might gain 23 pounds!
Started the day with a box of birthday muffins (banana) and coffee from the world's best secretary. Then after lunch, my intern buddies at the USAID mission + my housemate Lynn presented a cake that they baked (lemon). When I came back to the office, the pol-econ section team had a beautiful cake with my name on it (vanilla).

Now onward to continue festivities. My next door neighbors - a wonderful Ghanaian couple with two hilarious kids - are taking me and my housemate out to dinner. One of them has the same b-day as I, so August 2nd is a celebration for us all.
