Ghana defeated the Czech Republic in World Cup!
The Czechs were ranked #2 in the world!
The Black Star flag has never been waved so much as on Satruday.
I missed the game because I was preparing a grand and spicy dinner.
Those chile peppers I bought at the local market this week...well it turns out they are really spicy, and I accidently left some whole ones in the stew. I just wanted them in the stew for simmering flavor and had planned to take them out, but forgot.

John W's friend Audrey bit down on one and you know how the story goes - plenty of bread and water was consumed afterwards. I felt so bad.
Ahh, shall I retire my chef's hat?
