Refugee Camp Visit
Today I am shadowing our Refugee Assistance Coordinator on a visit to a refugee camp about an hour out of town. I'll be back this afternoon.
Ghana has opened its doors to many troubled neighbors: Liberians; Ivorians; Togoans.
Full report when I return.
Yesturday was World Refugee Day. As my sis AliciaL says - we should take a moment to think about life out-of-comfort. Empathy and attempted empathy are the key to caring. Caring is the catalyst for action when we are channelled with service opportunity. (Ya'll Woos love that 502 mix-in I know! Hah!)
Peace,
-Victor
